Chief Forrest Siebken

Chief Siebken began his law enforcement career in 1976 at the University of Nebraska with the UNO Campus Security. He has served the communities of West Point Nebraska, Carter Lake Iowa and Milford Nebraska. In 1983 he began serving the citizens of Milford as an officer and attained the rank of Sergeant. In January of 1999, Forrest left Milford Police and was appointed as the Seward County Chief Deputy under newly elected Sheriff Joe Yocum. In January of 2000 he returned to Milford by accepting the appointment as the Milford Police Chief and has been serving in that capacity since that appointment. Forrest has served as the firearms instructor, training officer, alcohol testing maintenance officer and other positions within the department. Forrest is also the D.A.R.E. Officer for the Milford Police Department and has served as a mentor for D.A.R.E. Officers’ Training. Forrest also serves on the Lincoln Berean Church Security Team.
Forrest is an active member in the Police Officers Association of Nebraska, Police Chiefs Association of Nebraska and International Association of Chiefs of Police. He is also a past member of the Milford Kiwanis Chapter
Forrest is married with three adult children and seven grandchildren.
